Natural Oral Care

The ethos of My Magic Mud is to use only the best, wholesome ingredients Mother Earth has to offer; the kind you’d find at a local farmers market, hand crafted with love.

Below is a comprehensive list of ingredients that we’ve chosen for our natural oral care products. The standard by which our founder, Jessica Arman, determines which ingredients to use, is whether she’d allow her own children to brush with them.

We hope you’ll find this directory of natural oral care ingredients helpful.

Ingredients and their benefits for natural oral care:

Activated Coconut Shell Charcoal

Activated Coconut Shell Charcoal whitens teeth through a process called “adsorption” as opposed to “absorption”. It literally pulls out strains from the pores of the teeth. What we see as a solid stain is actually residue from food or beverages trapped in tiny holes that naturally form in our teeth enamel. The charcoal fits inside these pores and is negatively charged. Bentonite Clay

Bentonite Clay pulls impurities, toxins, and bacteria from the mouth. It remineralizes the teeth. The minerals that are present in our teeth get striped away because of the food we eat, the water we drink, and the environment. The clay is filled with minerals. The minerals get deposited back into the teeth which helps rebuild the enamel. It removes plaque with every use. For more information about our bentonite clay, please click here.
