It took a few failed combinations before Jessica landed on a mix that included activated coconut shell charcoal, calcium bentonite clay, organic orange peel extract, and organic mint extract. The ingredients added up to a flavorless, odorless, mouth-cleansing, teeth-whitening powder Jessica called My Magic Mud®. Allie found her new remedy fun and enjoyable and she was motivated to improve her oral health.
Allie posted a picture of her teeth on social media—before and after using My Magic Mud® for a few weeks. The picture went viral within Jessica’s network. Soon she was giving the powder away to friends. People started asking her for refills when they ran out. Then they started offering to pay.
Inspired by these results, Jessica’s passion for oral care was born.
“I never intended for this to be a business,” Jessica said, “but the overwhelming demand for my remedy made it so.”
My Magic Mud® started at a local farmer’s market and grew into an international sensation.
From a mother’s love, an entire industry was born.

When you first meet Jessica and Justin Arman, their bright smiles and friendly personalities draw you in. But little do most passersby know, these two have started a dental hygiene revolution.
San Marcos Community Impact
By the time Jessica Arman’s daughter was 7 years old she had been to the dentist more than she had been to the doctor, Jessica said.
Her daughter, Allie, was born with a condition that caused her to be susceptible to cavities and tooth sensitivity. Looking to ease the symptoms of her daughter’s condition, Jessica began tinkering with different home remedies using sea salt, baking soda and other ingredients.
